We are very excited to be heading into the this most excellent time of the year, Summer and Christmas!

Sam has been busy loading all the very cool classes open for bookings now. Check out what’s on offer, your kids don’t want to miss out!

Enrolment for Term 1 2026 open now – Early enrolment Discount

Term 1, 2026 enrolments are open now! An early enrolment discount is available until 22 November 2025. We have a new, later time Creative Art Class for older kids on Monday afternoons at Ngaio, as well as all our regular classes. Existing students are welcome to email Sam to roll over your child into their existing class and everyone else can simply follow this link to enroll.

Extra One-off end of term 4 art sessions

At the end of term 4, SAH are running some one-off afterschool art sessions. Term 4 classes at Sams Art House finish on Saturday 13 Dec. Our one-off classes run on 15, 16, 17 December, 3.30-6pm. Kids will have a ‘ball’ xmas creating, going to the park and having fun. They will also be fed! To book into one of these sessions follow this link.

K-Pop Demon Hunter Parties

Those in the know, know K-Pop Demon Hunters are all the rage! We are in the KNOW! We have 2 awesome K-Pop ‘Parties’ coming up for anyone who is in the KNOW! Saturday 22 Nov, 2-4.30pm is our first ‘party’, where kids will be making their own Demon Hunter Wire person, with accessories. The second ‘party’ is Saturday 6 Dec, 2-4.30pm where kids will be painting their favourite Demon Hunter. All materials, party food and an awesome party bag are included! To book follow this link.

Holiday Fun at Sams Art House

Our awesome December January school holiday programmes are open for bookings! December is all about Christmas arts & crafts. Our January holiday programme has some awesome new projects including our very popular full day, Dolls house craft and a brand new, full day, ‘tea and baking day’. Cystic Fibrosis Christmas Tree Festival

As you all may know, we love Christmas at Sams Art House! This year, once again, we are creating a Christmas Tree at the annual Cystic Fibrosis Christmas Tree Festival at Wellington Airport. Installation of the tree is on Tuesday 25 November, with the festival starting from then on. If you are keen, make a special trip to check out the festival and make a vote for your most favourite – ours of course!!!

Ngaio Village Christmas Party

The annual Ngaio Village Christmas Party is being held on Friday 12 December, 6-8pm with most of the Ngaio shops open, Scouts running their sausage sizzle, free Christmas Decoration making at Sams Art House, a fabulous Village Christmas Tree, lollies, food, and heaps more. There may even be a visit by the big person in ‘RED’ – watch this space!

Fee Increase for 2026

Like many small businesses, Sams Art House has seen our costs rise significantly over the past few years — especially for insurance, utilities, and rates. To keep providing the same high-quality, small-group art experiences your kids enjoy, we’ll be making a price adjustment to class fees for 2026.

This ensures we continue to:

Use quality art & crafting materials — 100% sourced from NZ based suppliers
Deliver innovative ways to showcase your kid’s creativity — such as exhibitions and community focussed events
Pay our amazing tutors fairly — some of whom are former Sams Art House students!

I have looked closely at other artistic & creative providers across the country, & I’m proud that Sams Art House still remains one of the most affordable, high-value creative learning experiences in Wellington. Remember to take advantage of early enrolment to secure discounts.
